Several students and classrooms took home top honors at the recent La Joya ISD Area I District Science Fair.
Mrs. B. Cantuās Pre-K class project, āHojas Fantasticasā, took home first place in Pre-K collections and also earned Grand Champion in the collections division.
Tabasco had several other winners at the district meet, as follows: Pre-K, Physical Science 2nd Place ā S. Angulo-Jangās class āOn The Road Againā; Kinder, Physical Science 2nd Place ā J. Arguijoās Class āTrash & Recyclingā; 1st Grade, Life Science 3rd Place ā Renata Mata āTreeās Lifeā; 1st Grade, Life Science 1st Place ā Jared Vasquez, āBones: Clubfootā; 1st Grade, Earth Science 3rd Place ā Lucy Moreno āEarthquakesā; 1st Grade, Earth Science 2nd Place ā Dariel Hinojosa āEnergia Renovableā; 2nd Grade Physical Science 2nd Place ā Sofia Hinojosa āThe Conductor Gameā; 4th Grade Physical Science 3rd Place ā Camila Gonzalez āPenny Vs.
