A trio of gamers from Tabasco Elementary fought their way to the top taking 1st place amid tough competition at the recent Esports tournament on Dec. 3 at Paredes Elementary.
The team Enforcers Alpha, consisting of members Oziel Hernandez, Alex Reyna, and Mason Oliva, defeated several other teams, going undefeated until the final match, where they incurred their first loss before taking victory in the tiebreaking round to seal the title.
Three groups assembled from the Tabasco Enforcers team competed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch, facing teams from several other elementary schools in the district. The other teams also fought admirably, advancing through the tournament for a few rounds before elimination.
The Tabasco Enforcers team is made up of nearly 20 members, and are ready to take on the challengers in the next meet in 2023!
